One Airbnb Luxe villa was fantastic news. Now we have two.
We’re absolutely delighted to share some more very special news from Salema, Algarve.
Following the recent announcement that Villa Sol e Mar achieved coveted Airbnb Luxe status, we’re incredibly proud to announce that Villa Vista Paraíso has now also been awarded Airbnb Luxe status.
That means Simply Salema is now home to two Airbnb Luxe villas – a fantastic achievement and one that we’re enormously proud of.
Another villa. Another Airbnb personal inspection. Another exceptional result.
Just like Villa Sol e Mar, Villa Vista Paraíso didn’t simply receive a Luxe badge because it looked good online.
The villa went through Airbnb’s rigorous Luxe assessment process, including a personal inspection by an Airbnb Luxe representative in the Algarve.
The property was assessed in person, looking at the overall quality and guest experience, including areas such as:
- Interior design and presentation
- Quality of furniture, fixtures and finishes
- Bedrooms and bathrooms
- Kitchen and appliances
- Living spaces
- Outdoor areas and landscaping
- Swimming pool and leisure facilities
- Location and privacy
- Overall condition and attention to detail
- The quality of the experience offered to guests
In other words, the villa had to stand up to scrutiny in real life – not simply in photographs.
And we’re delighted that Villa Vista Paraíso passed that test and has now joined the exclusive Airbnb Luxe collection, a rarity in the Algarve.
Two Airbnb Luxe villas in Salema
What makes this particularly exciting for us is that this isn’t simply recognition of one exceptional villa.
It is recognition of two.
Villa Sol e Mar and Villa Vista Paraíso are both part of our collection of luxury villas in Salema, and both have now been independently assessed and recognised by Airbnb for meeting the exceptionally high standards expected of a Luxe property.
Airbnb Luxe is a highly curated collection of exceptional homes around the world, selected for their quality, design, location and the experience they provide to guests.
For us, having two villas accepted into that collection is a wonderful endorsement of the care and attention we put into our properties.

We’ve always felt that Villa Vista Paraíso is something rather special.
Its design, beautiful spaces, views, outdoor areas and carefully considered details have been created to give guests an exceptional place to stay in one of the Algarve’s most beautiful coastal villages.
So to have Airbnb independently inspect the villa and agree that it meets the standards required for Luxe status is a particularly proud moment for us.
It also gives our guests another reason to book with confidence.
Of course, an Airbnb Luxe designation isn’t what makes a holiday memorable.
That’s the feeling of opening the doors to your villa, seeing the view, stepping outside into the sunshine, enjoying your own private pool, walking down to Salema beach and spending time together in a genuinely beautiful setting.
